Privacy Policy
Quigo Legal

When you sign in with Google, Quigo receives only your email, display name, and profile picture URL, and we do not request access to your contacts, drive, calendar, or any other Google data. We also store the projects, scenes, choices, and videos you upload while using the editor. Your account information is used solely to identify and manage your projects, to display your name and profile picture within the app interface, and to support essential account related notifications and security features when enabled. Your project content stays private to your account unless you intentionally create a public Share link, in which case anyone with that URL can view (but not edit) that project's videos and choices, and you can stop sharing at any time by deleting the project so the link will then 404. When you purchase a subscription or a credit top up, payment is processed by Stripe, our PCI compliant payment provider, which collects your card details, billing address, and email directly on its own systems, and we never see or store your full card number, so we only receive a transaction reference, your subscription tier, and your renewal date so we can grant access to paid features and email you about billing matters. We do not share, sell, rent, or distribute your personal data, prompts, projects, videos, or uploaded content to advertisers, third parties, or other users. We use a single httpOnly session cookie (session_token) to keep you signed in, and PostHog (our product analytics provider) sets a first party cookie scoped to this domain so we can attribute repeat visits and improve the product. We use PostHog to understand how Quigo is used such as pageviews (initial loads and in-app route changes, with referrer information), sign ins, project creations, saves, and plays, and events are anonymous until you sign in, after which PostHog stitches the prior anonymous events to your account so we can measure the full funnel. We do NOT use session replay, heatmaps, or screen recording. Note: Quigo's analytics no longer honour the browser Do Not Track signal because we use first party analytics only and do not share data with third parties, so DNT users were previously excluded from our product metrics for no privacy benefit. If you still want to opt out of analytics entirely, you can use an ad/tracker blocker (PostHog is on most public blocklists) or email contact@quigo.tech to request deletion of your analytics profile. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not allow third parties to track you across other sites. You can delete every project and video you created from the Library page at any time, and to delete your entire account and all associated data, email contact@quigo.tech and we will erase everything within 7 days, although billing records required for tax and accounting purposes may be retained for the period required by law. Quigo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we materially change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the date below, and continued use of Quigo after changes constitutes acceptance. For questions, requests, or complaints contact us at contact@quigo.tech.
